The only think I can think of off hand is using the matrix metering in fast moving situations. The R6.2 is certainly going to be much slower in sporting events where the light is constantly changing. And in other situations where auto exposure is called for. Depends on how you shoot. Oh, yeah, on other thing. The R6.2 doesn't have a built-in flash meter that will meter ANY flash (tripped via cord).
