Folks - the R8 *looks* huge when you see it
without context.  Something about the shape.
(By the same token, an OM1 looks even smaller
 than it actually is, I don't know why.)

When you see an R8 in somebody's hands,
it looks to be quite a normal size camera.

esp when used with long lenses.
