The Wetzlar M6's and the early Solms ones (to around 1990) have the cassette lugs, and you can still replace the current M6 baseplate with the M4-2 baseplate which has the lugs -- Leica sells a number of new replacement M4-2 baseplates to us old-fashioned guys.
