Emanuel,

My experiance is different.  I have been charged duty on most equipment I
have bought in the US and shipped to Canada. This includes electronic
flash, lenses, darkroom equipment.  I now ask to have it shipped by mail
where possible, since UPS charges such high brokerage fees and usually gets
the category wrong.
