I mount all of my negatives and slides in slide mounts to file them. I edit first as I cut them apart, discarding any definate no's, then after they are mounted I examine them all with a loupe and mark the mounts that look most promising. Those are printed on resin coated paper. Then I edit those prints and print the best ones on fiber paper for "keepers". When I come back from a trip with 400 rolls of exposed film, it's a monumental task! But I love it.
