Street photography is dead easy, a piece of cake, compared to the difficulty of capturing a good scenic with IMPACT. As you know, you can empty your camera in minutes on the street whereas in landscape work 36 exposures can be a drag unless you bracket like mad. For print film colour or monochrome it is really good fun to try using the 35mm camera in panoramic mode by swinging the camera through 180 (or even 360) degrees. Some pointers. 1 Keep the exposure and aperture and focus the same for each portion. 2. Do not use wide-angle lenses as they are impossible to match successive scenes to the edge distortion. 3 Level the camera with a bubble on the tripod. 4 Overlap by at least 50% 6 If there is any foreground the axis swing must be in front of the camera NOT at the tripod bush. I find a secondary advantage to panorama is that it effectively increases the negative area to give better grain and tone control. Watch out for snakes. I got bitten just over a week ago. My hand is only now able to hold a camera, not to mention fill the kettle etc. and you have really dangerous ones in OZ so I hear. Alan Hull
