Raimo, there is only one pre-asph 1.4/35 Summilux and 2 asph versions, the "aspherical" and "ASPH". There are 4 pre-saph 2/35 Summicrons, which were described by Lucien 1 week ago, May 7. I add his mail below Alf - --------------- Lucien's answer: 1 1958 Canada and Wetzlar (filter E-39) - Chrome for M2 = 11308 (SAWOO-MW) - Chrome RF for M3 = 11108 1961 - rare black for M2 = 11307 (SAWOO-M) - Rare black RF for M3 = 11104 2 1969 Canada + rare Wetzlar (filter E-39 + serie VII) - Black chrome 11309 (with protuding aperture control lever) 3 1970 (or 1973*) Canada (filter E-39 + serie VII**) - Black chrome 11309 (same code, new computation**, no protuding etc..) * according to first serial nr = 1970 according to litterature = 1973 ** Some rare lens accept only serie VII *** no draft of the new lens design available, debatable. 4 1979 Canada + Germany (filter E-39) - Black chrome 11310 1992 Germany - Chrome 11311 5 1997 Germany - Black Asph. - Chrome Asph. >What was the last version produced in Canada/Wetzlar?
