Good Morning, Ian
At the LHSA Photo session (Charleston, SC last month) we had several
Tri-Elmars. My inventory at the time was two and Leica also sent one to
use. I am not a professional photographer, so in order for me to "test" the
lenses I went around town and stayed in the same position with the same
exposure, most of the time wide-open, and made the three exposures. I had
them developed and passed the pictures around. The comments were all
positive. Maybe they were just being nice to me, who knows. Maybe Tom A.
will see the post and comment from a more technical viewpoint. The
Tri-Elmar is in stock at most dealers and is $2295. USD I provide a choice
of the following with purchase: One year LHSA membership or a Metz 20
strobe. In the US the choice also includes free shipping.
Enjoy your trip.
