Haugaard <john@trinitytitle.com> >I bought the camera by mail order, and didn't/couldn't examine it prior to buying, so now I'm in the shakedown period to make sure it's a keeper. There is one thing I'd like your advice/help on: the inside of the glass on the front of the viewfinder is, for a lack of a better term, a bit dirty. Not chunky, mind you, but there is a sort of mottled, hazy appearance to it. I'm not sure how that would happen, and as far as I can tell, there is no appreciable affect on the clarity of the viewfinder. But, I'm relying on a lifetime sample size of one in making that assessment. Should I be concerned? Hi John, The M-system *does* take some getting used to if you've been using SLRs all the time, but I've found the near-zero delay and being able to see beyond the boundaries of the lens coverage to be very, very useful. In fact, I've found that sometimes, I photograph people TOO QUICKLY, before they've had a chance to look at the camera! A little hazing in the viewfinder window sounds like maybe someone left the camera in a hot car (ouch!), and the lubricants condensed where they didn't belong. Annoying, but harmless, and the first time the camera goes in for a CLA, it'll be gone. I think there is a cemented optical element in there, but haven't known this to be a source of trouble, particularly in a camera as new as yours. Jeff
