They will admit up to a certain speed. But last I heard was Mach >3+. Well just yesterday I saw some of their pilots commenting on the TV. He was saying there is nothing like soaring above the world with the distance ticking over at 2 miles per second. Sounds like a big admission of more than Mach 3 to me. Although I don't know off hand what Mach that is at that altitude. The other guy said he saw.. I think it was 6 sun rises in a day or something.
