There was an article in Viewfinder some years back about the 'Zero'(?) computer developed in Germany(?) during the war which Leitz then used/bought for their lens design work, this being one of the first in the world and of such a different design to others such that parts of its ability were not superseded by other designs until the 60s... Fascinating to hear the 'bug' came from the US Navy... The things you learn on this group! The only thing the Navy project gave us was the word, "bug". Marc msmall@roanoke.infi.net FAX: +540/343-7315 Cha robh bas fir gun ghras fir!
