I have a Summilux-M 35/f1.4 (352xxxx) which does and a Summicron-M 50/f2 (344xxxx) which also has it. But I have seen a number of Leica M-lenses (especially the newer 50mm's) and the 90mm's which do not. And it appears that the 21mm and 28mm lenses do not, but I've never actually seen these. (Ah, the pleasures of living in out-of-the-way places!) I find that focusing tab very convenient to use. Is there a list that one can check on this for a particular lens? For me it would be very convenient to know whether a particular lens has the tab when buying across the internet or when looking at ads. Or is there no "rule"? Thanks for your help. - -- Wolfgang =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Wolfgang Sachse Cornell University http://www.msc.cornell.edu/~sachse/ sachse@msc.cornell.edu +1 (607) 255-5065 (secy: 255-5062; fax: 255-9179) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
