I ended up adapting a combination of suggestions: Carl's single large umbrella for the main light and Eric's and David's window for fill - the foamcore was in the car just in case. I adjusted the light to subject distance to give me f/5.6 and the natural light metered out at between f/2.8 & f/4. The subjects were placed about four feet in front of plain light colored wall. I just picked the prints from the local one-hour place & they look fine - technically. As Carl experienced with the Fulbright recipients, I was in a bit of a time crunch and did not have the opportunity to fine-tune for each subject. Roy Roy C.
