The Polaroid has better density than the Nikon, due to the 30 bit internal scanning. It is fast, like less than a minute at full, i.e. 1950 dpi, optical resolution. Then the quality is slightly less than Kodak PhotoCD at 18MB res. Th software is good, but you should do the filters in Photoshop or the like (all less good than Pohotshop, to be prejudiced). EZSCSI 4.01 is good to have, and it regognizes the 35LE. 32 MB is on the low side, I am afraid, for comfortable scanning. When you buy one: enjoy!
