Subject: [Leica] Replacement found for PX625 cell

I found a good replacement for the discontinued P625 mercury cell.

It is called WeinCell MRB625. It is a zinc-air cell. $5.95 at Ritz
Camera. From the packaging, it looks like it is distributed by Saunders
Group of Rochester, NY.

I have installed it in two Leicameter MR units I have and it seems to
work perfectly. The package claims a shelf life of ten years. Can't
report on that claim yet! The package even mentions Leica M5 as one of
the cameras it is intended for.

Finally!
