A classmate (wonderful person, but quite the scatter brain) of mine in
journalism school was waitressing at a bar in Columbia, MO., the night
before Ronald Reagan passed through town. A bunch of guys in suits were
partying hardy, and she covered their table. At one point, they asked her
if she was going to see the Prez. the next day.

She said, "See him, I'm going to shoot him."

They got really sober and said "We can put you in jail for saying that, you
really shouldn't."

She said, "Give me a break, I'm a photographer."

They ended up partying together to the wee hours. Makes you wonder just how
secure the president is, eh?
