I called a knowledgeable Leica dealer = today to order a 14167 adapter. I want to adapt my 1962 vintage 4/200 = Telyt to my NEW (to me) R6. I have been using the Telyt on a Viso III = with the 16466M adapter. The dealer told me that it would not work. So the real world question = is: Will a R6 > 14167 > 16466M > 4/200 Telyt work? My interpretation of the LAG is that it will work and that by using the = 14167 rather than 14127 adapter I will retain the use of the metering = system. Is that correct? (I understand that I will not have an = automatic lens, but I will have a 200mm now instead of saving for the = next year to get a comparable length). Marc Small writes: I |The 4/200 Telyt-V is fitted to the Visoflex II, IIa, or III with an |OUBIO/14166 adapter; it is a direct mount on the earlier PLOOT or = Visoflex |I. It can be fitted to the R cameras with either a 14127 or 14167 = adapter; | the second version of the latter is still available from Leica. Regards, Bill Larsen ohlen@lightspeed.net
