    just received sn#2415034 in chicago ; engraving
leica camera
made in germany (on 2 lines)

finally! (my 1st had to go back due to rf misalignment)

i agree with an older posting that the 75mm is a distaction to the 50mm, but
am sure i'll get used to it (maybe its a way of tempting us into buying the
expensive 75 -:)?)

and yes, the red dot is already covered with tape, and the big white
engraving on the front is filled with easily removed black crayon
though i hope to not revive the 'blues' thread...

one thing - the shutter release seems deep - but this is my 1st '6' of any
kind and presume its depth is for meter operation (this in comparison to my
3's and CL)

wish i had had it during the last 2 glorious weeks in manuel antonio region
of costa rica

this is the camera i've always wanted!
