Both are user lenses in poor cosmetic condition but work for taking pictures, and both have black paint that comes off very easily. I can get this paint off almost effortlessly by gentle scraping with a fingernail, especially with the Hektor, which is a brass lens now, rather than a black one! What I'd like to know is, how usual is this in black lenses of this vintage? Joe Berenbaum
