But all states save for Louisiana, and all US Territories, have adopted the Uniform Commercial Code, which specifically states that no warranty can be based upon the return, or non-return, of any registration form or card. So, the law is the same in all states and territories save for Lousiana, and I recall that their laws on this point are a bit more stringent -- no registration can be required to invoke a warranty.
