Yes, I also own the 21mm Aspheric.  I could not believe the first roll that I
shot with it and I am as astounded as you.  In fact, I keep this lense on one
of my M6's all of the time.  You're right,  you hardly ever have to check the
distance.  Phenomenal lense.
