Yes Alastair, you are right there are a 
few milloin of mosquitoes around you
all the time, but the best is not to 
pay any attention. In a week or two
you will not notice them any more.
To be honest the mosquitoes are problem 
only in woods by lakes. There is
no mosquitoes in towns. The Lapland 
(nothern Finland) is the worst part if
you are afraid of these little stupid 
flying objects. A bottle of national 
Finnish
liquer "Koskenkorva" will help you to 
survive. Price about $13 / half litre.
On the other hand, what good or best in 
the world you get for free. You have
to pay for Leica, so the mosquitoes 
make you to pay for the glorious 
Finnish
nature.
