Subject: [Leica] M2 questions

Hi LUG-

Been lurking for a couple of months. Thanks for all the shared knowledge.

About 6 years ago I sold all of my Leica M equipment (a bunch!) in order to
help finance my children's college education. BTW, it only helped. At any
rate, I am now planning to get back into the M.

I would be using the 35mm lens most often, perhaps almost as a standard
lens. I would like to know if the 35mm framelines in the M2 are as easy to
see as they are in the M6? I wear glasses and so this is rather important
to me. If the framelines are indeed different, with which model did the
change occur? Was it the M4-P?

Are there any differences between M2s that I should be aware of?

If anyone has a good, but not collector quality, M2 with either 50
Summicron or 35mm Summicron for sale, would you please let me know?
Private email would of course be better.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a source for this equipment? If so,
again please email me privately unless it would be valuable info for the
entire list.

I know I'm in trouble since I'm beginning to salivate. Well, actually, drool!

Thanks for all your contributions.
