What in the world do the G1 and M6 have in common that would make you ask that question? <<<<<<<<<<< To answer the last question first, they're both interchangeable lens rangefinder cameras of high cost with lenses equally outstanding and optically unequaled by anyone else. That's what they have in common. Beyond this list, the M6 and G cameras compete for buyer's money every day. Just as the R cameras compete with Nikons and Canons. To answer the original question, my first G1 had a speck of dust in the viewfinder. And as much as that finder magnifies the image, the speck was quite annoying. My dealer let me keep that G1 until he got in another one a few weeks later, then exchanged it. In the year-and-a-half I owned the newer one, I never had another problem. Larry
