I find it interesting that people are excited about the ~$1550.00 from HK. With a little work and negotiation, I've found at least one dealer selling new M6's in the US for $1795.00. This is for a Passport Warranty and from an authorized US Leica dealer. I don't know about anybody else, but I think the Passport warranty and US support is worth $250.00. As far as the Passport Warranty being transferable - Yea, I'd like it if I were buying/selling used. But you have to remember that Leica is in the business to sell cameras. They make no revenue from used cameras being bought/sold. It is like anything else. If it is abused, the program will be modified. As Leica explained to me, they were seeing alot of cameras in very poor condition being sold at basement prices so the new owner could trash it further then collect a new camera. I don't blame Leica for changing the program to eliminate the abuse. Rick
