Interesting, because on two occasions with my old M6 (still with plastic
sheet on bottom) I have exposed rolls of Ilford HP5+ that were essentially
ruined from static marks that were all over the entire film surface.  The
marks literally looked like small lightning bolts.  Both rolls were exposed
inder very similar conditions, dry air indoors in the Winter.

This is the first time I have heard any warnings about the plastic.  There
was nothing in the instructions that came with my new M6HM (still with
plastic, but that may soon change).
