Subject: Re: [Leica] M6 question

Let me add my "data point" to those of my other LUG colleagues: My new
(month-old) M6 does the same thing--fires when the shutter button is pressed
on an untensioned shutter--with all four flashes I own. And all four flashes
sync perfectly when the shutter is tensioned. Seems like a nonproblem yet I
too wonder how the flash "knows" when to fire when the shutter is tensioned.
I suspect Leica has a very old and simple mechanical firing solution in the
shutter mechanism which assures synchronization.
