The MR-4 has a redesigned sliding switch in order not to obstruct the
rewind crank of the M4. It's the model to buy if you really want that stu=
ff...
The mercure battery px-625 is now legally forbidden because of the
pollution. As replacement you have now the "Wein" cell.
Be careful : the leicameter is out of production since 15 years. That is =
to
say : a used meter needs a (costly )service.Buy if possible a meter with =
a
warranty.
It's perhaps interesting to ask yourself : for the price of a well used
leicameter, I can purchase a sekonic meter with silicium, incident and
reflected measure of the light, flashmeter, and so on. Moreover, the leic=
a
meter put on the M4 ruins the smooth design of the leica.
I used 3 leicameters with many problems. In my own opinion, it's a
"lemon".If you see one, get back.
