I had always been under the = impression that screw mount lens generally took a 36 mm filter while the = M-mount lens generally took a 39 mm filter and that was pretty standard = for Leica. Now that I have this new information, I can pretty much give = up the idea of building a system using a "systems approach." Well, so = much for redundancy. I guess I need to buy every size filter when it = comes on the market for a reasonable price in case Leica comes out with = a new Lens for their rf cameras.
