Pete,

You have to understand that governments (all of them--some are much worse than
ours) suck. THey inhibit and annoy, often, it seems, for the sake of it. One
of the advantages of simple cameras like Leicas is that you can keep a low
profile and still get good material. It's particularly annoying that you are
being taxed to pay the people who are annoying you and taking your money.
