The R4s is a little bit quirky in that it doesn't show you the set
shutter speed in the VF when you're in manual mode, unlike the R4
and the R4s Mod P. When I had an R4s as a second body I found this
bad enough that I called up Leica and asked what it would cost to
change this, and they said $275. I think this means that DAG might
do it for $135 (but I sold the camera and bought another R6 before I
ever checked with DAG about it).

Incidentally, you don't have to hold the shutter release down
constantly to meter -- if the next frame is wound on, the meter stays
on for 10 seconds after you touch and release the shutter release. I
usually find this long enough.
