There was a similar attempt made on the LUG a few months back.  Although 
there are many well-informed Leica enthusiasts on the list, the reports 
were, at best, anecdotal, and did not represent a meaningful sample size 
for extrapolating any reliability or defect information for all Leica 
equipment.
