[Leica] Need Repair Help

Dear Fellow LUGnuts,

I have an M3 that is in great shape except for the hinged back of the
camera.  I had stuck with adhesive foam one of those "film reminders" where
you insert the end of the film box.  It sometimes becomes difficult to
remember what type of film is in each camera.  Well, I removed it today and
most of the vulcanite came off with the sticky foam backing.  Ouch!!

Are there "replacement" backs for M3 cameras still available or is to
become an expensive repair job ?
