Imagine how pathetic a Porsche would be is they refused fuel injection. When I sold my Nikon 8008s it had exposed a third of a million frames, not bad for a doodad. Electronic shutters can be small, ever see a Pentax M. The G2 is a gimmick, or the black model would be the same price as any other. Besides it's an AF viewfinder camera. It doesn't have a rangefinder. I (and others) don't want a different M camera, just one that uses modern technology. I drive a manual transmission, but it's hydraulic clutch is much nicer than the old cabled sort.
