I have a nicely brassed (patina I think they call it) R3 and a can of OD green paint I can make you a heck of a deal on. >>I keep seeing the one advertised by Samy's in Shutterbug ($4000 for the kit), which seems high even for a Safari. Don Chatterton told me he hasn't sold one in years and advised me to buy an R3 and paint it green.<< Sound advice. I just bought another as new in the box R3 (in case my old faithful R3 should ever decide to retire) for $350. It may be a physically big camera compared to the R4/5/6/7 but not to the R8. The R3 is a great buy these days for a very dependable camera that uses R lenses. don
