Ted, Eric,

It is really elementary.  Each time you have the man jump over the
puddle you shoot at a different f-stop.  Of course, you also need to
bracket the shutter speed to get just the right blurr.  So:    since BW
can bracket in one stop increments due to latitude of film so F 4
@1/15th, 1/30 and 1/60 and repeat at F5.6 and F/8.  That is only nine
shots and exactly the ring around bracket I do (only in 1/2 stop
increments) for mixed strobe/ambient mix.  And by the end the guy will
get the jump down/  If you study the picture you will see the shoes look
wet, so obviously this is not the first of the brackets and the guy
can't jump very far.  F/5.6 at 1/30th is my vote.  

I'm looking for volunteers to try to do Capa's famous Spanish civil war
photo over.  Gotta fix the framing.  Let's see, it will need nine of you
with the bracketing.  But the Email load will go down afterwards.
