Art, I know it is against the theory which you state correctly. But I expose if possible just what the meter tells me. I got outstanding shots (slides!) that way from night scenes on the street, blue hour theatre etc. At night the contrasts are much higher. The M6 meter is probably fooled by the highlights and exposes correctly, showing everybody that it is a night scene. The rest is bracketing. christoph
