Now I need to decide whether I need 180, or want 300! They don't make a 300. The 280 2.8 or 4 Apo telyts are fabulous lenses, with the f/4 lens being one of the best lenses in the Leica line. And I see them both around for $3,495 (used for 2.8 and new for 4). In fact, most 300 2.8 lenses are actually 280s. Only Nikon's latest 300 2.8 (the AF-S) is a true 300. Most lenses in this length are all based on the same formula, with tweaking making the differences in optical performance. ========== Eric Welch St. Joseph, MO http://www.ponyexpress.net/~ewelch There's no such thing as nonexistence.
