In Reponses Photo Nr 71 Fevrier 1998 Page 94/95
There is a "test" of the RICOH 28 mm f:2,8 and a
comparison with the Elmarit 28/2,8.
Summary:
RICOH GR LEICA Elmarit
8.000 FF+adapter 13.500 FF (without viewfinder)
180 g 240 g
half the size
Filter 40,5 46
viewfinder better
colder warmer and "softer" rendition (Leica, quoi!)
2,8 corner soft
2,8 more distorsion
better details in shadow
Conclusion : Elmarit is better. Ouf ! ;-)
BTW on a CLE, a black RICOH GR 28 mm f:2,8 could be
a solution of replacement for the "bubble separating" Rokkor 28.
(same filter size I guess)
N.B. Use the RICOH GR 28 mm f:2,8:
with the adapter Leitz 14 098 (for 28-90) on M4-P or M6 or
with the adapter Leitz 14 099 (for 35-135) on Minolta CLE
Be carefull because on the ring 14 097 (for 50) =
there is a 28-50 engraved.
