Fellow LUGgers,

The Leica M4P w/M6 windows/viewfinder were available both in black and 
silver chrome. However, the really interesting point is that beginning 
with serial number 1650026 they were manufactured with only one flash 
sync post - just like the Leica M6!

The current issue (week ending 1/10/98) of "Amateur Photographer" has an
ad from the Classic Collection, 2 Pied Bull Yard and Galen Place, London 
WC1A 2JR, UK, Tel: 0171-832 6000, Fax: 0171-831 5424, E-mail: 
classiccollection@leica.demon.co.uk, URL: http://www.classiccollection.com,
for a Leica M4P Silver Chrome "panda windows (very rare)" - 1495 pounds 
sterling (about $2400).
