Has this zoom been discussed on the LUG in the recent past or does anyone
have an opinion about this lens<<

I will be interested to see what this discussion turns up as I am thinking
about this lens also as well as the newer f/4 version.  So if anyone has
experience with either the f/3.5 version or the newer f/4 version there are
at least two of us who would enjoy your feedback.
