Although I'm less skillful and optimistic than you, for sure, I'll be happy if I understand what makes them ticking - one far away day at least. And, thanks for the warning to be more cautious with the lenses. I think, I'll start with finding out, which screws I'm allowed to move for looking inside, and which definitely result in the plastic bag solution :) Do you know, by chance, whether the Russian Leica immitations or derivates are constructed identical (or similar at least) as Leitz's "daughters" ?
