I use the CPE2 with the lift which is, in my mind, a necessity for film. I use this model because I obtained it used very reasonably several years ago from an old friend who was closing down his commercial one-hour photo operation. Because the controls are analog, temperature adjustment can be a bit finicky, and I've come to rely on a thermometer to measure the temperature of solutions. With prints, the CPE2 will handle up to 11x14. It will not accomodate the newest model of 4x5 tank which is designed like the cylinder of a revolver and whose name I can't remember. It does not have a cooling capability which may be a factor for you depending on your location for summertime b&w processing. The Jobo USA support people have shown themselves to be exceptionally customer-oriented in both pre- and post-sale matters.
