I'm currently using an M6, M4-P and several Leica M lenses. My question. I recently acquired the 135mm Elmarit-M with goggles. When I mount it to the M4-P, as an example, it brings up the 90mm bright lines but appears to display a frame similar to the 135mm frame in the viewfinder when the lens is removed. I assume this is normal and that I'm getting a reasonable facsimile of the film's view. I have found the lens to include somewhat more on the chrome than I expected based upon the viewfinder information. It focuses accurately. Should I simply remove the goggles? Won't I then get the 90mm viewfinder frame when it's mounted? Thanks. Fred Maplewood Photography http://www.maplewoodphoto.com
