Tell me, do you find it awkward to kneel while peering through the M viewfinder, and do you sometimes wish you had gotten the Gitzo 126 instead? Curious to also know where everyone's getting the Arca B1, and how long the wait was: My neighborhood dealer supposedly ordered me one back around August, and thus far, as produced no goods, and not given me a firm price. Finally, has anyone spent much time using Gitzo's 1349 or (especially) 1348 tripods? The 1348 appears to be precisely what I've been wanting. Ideally, between the 026+Kaiser and a 1348 w/B1, there would be no reason for me to keep my present 226 Safari + Linhof Profi II. I am careful with my gear, but do tend to drop my tripods more often than I'd like (Domke's tripod bag slips off my shoulder while I'm climbing over rocks, etc), so accident-proofness is always a plus.
