I thought that a quick note on the subject of the Nat. Geo. CD set was in order as it is a raw spot for most of the photographers who've shot for the magazine over te years. It seems that Nat. Geo. is staunchly refusing to pay a reasonable reuse fee for any (or at the very least, most) of the photographers whose work is included in the CD set. Lawsuits have been flying since earlier this year and though I'm sure the set is a wonderful resource, people who are considering purchase of it might consider that it is a slap in the face to alot of the better photographers out there before plonking down their money.
