Sometimes the old pack horse just gets tired! I'm beginning to reduce the amount I carry more and more as time goes by. About the passport. I've never heard of Leica refusing Passport service on a piece of equipment that is less than three years old. If there is a problem... as long as the new owner uses "Richard Hemmingway" as the name, if needing passport repairs, well... that should solve the problem. I think Leica will not hassle anyone over a passport repair. Perhaps if you send in the scrap of metal that contains the serial number and ask for a new camera, you might encounter a little static. But for faults due to workmanship or attrition (probably hard to do), I cannot imagine a problem. I guess I could be wrong though. Jim
