The 3.4, when purchased about 10 years ago for the very reasonable sum of $195, looked (except for the perfect glass) as though it had been kicked here from Texas. Internally it shows NO deterioration and is a very sharp lens. The f4 was purchased this year and appears unused. It is also perfect internally. I highly recommend the SA. Can anyone comment on the f4 R version? kw >Your experience as well as mine, though different, suggests caution when >buying a SA. >The one I got (and promptly returned!)
