It has a match the needle exposure meter. Everything is manual operation. It does have avery sharp sharp Rollei (Carl Zeiss) 40mm f2.5 Sonnar HFT lens. Maximum shutter speed 1/500. Since it has a leaf shutter, you get flash sync at all speeds. Great for daytime fill flash. If someone wants a modern day Rollei Point & Shoot, a recent SHUTTERBUG article gave praise to the Rollei Prego Zoom 90. They liked the sharp Schneider lens. The camera is made by Samsung for Rollei, with a German lens. My 35 S can be bought from $200-$400 depending upon condition. Most were made in Singapore and a few in Germany. They also had a F3.5 Tessar lens, but the f2.8 40 mm like I have is the better lens to own. Rollei still makes the camera as a $2000.00 collector's item in Gold with Black Lacquer finish. It is called a 35 Royal. At 01:28 AM 12/17/97 -0500, you wrote: >Bud, > >I have sent a note to my friend.
