Feiniger, who stoped taking pix in the late 80ies because of his bad eyes, said in the interview, that simplicity and clarity make a good picture. Basic assumption, that the photographer is interested in the subject. Since he was never interested in humans (except some rare intelligent ones), he never made portraits. He was interested in structures (daily life and microcosm). Absolutely impressing b/w examples. Alf
